"When I am working on a pipe I am hoping the new owner will get many hours of pleasure from smoking my pipe. It would be the answer to a dream to be able to take a trip to Japan and meet all the people that have my pipes." - Lee von Erck
Lee works from small shop located in Negaunee, Michigan, USA. He has been making pipes since the mid 80's. He first spent 3 years developing a unique oil curing process of his own. Consequently, his briar is double-cured. Lee uses mostly first-grade Grecian and Corsican briar . His approaches and designs are truly different, producing wonderfully unique pipes. Most of them have a rather deep bowl , longer shank, handcut bit, light weight as a size. All pipes are truly handmade and one-of-a-kind.
