Werner uses briarwood, which comes from Morocco, Corsica and Sicily. Trying to get the best materials available, he often travels to destinations where the Briarwood grows and gets the Briarwood direct from the producer. Each block of briar he buys he has selected personally at the producing firm.

During working the shape, he takes special consideration to bring the grain optimal to its validity. The pipes are projected by himself, each is an unique piece of art. During his work, it benefits himself that he is a passionate pipe smoker.

In such a way, the mouthpieces are cut manually from hand, especially high-quality pipes are provided with a ergonomic stem end.
